“Chromatic Energy”

In this series clothing becomes a central element of the painting.
Watching dancers in kimono-like garments, I realized how in motion the fabric becomes an extension of the body, echoing each movement in a deeply poetic way. The fabric itself seemed to become a conversation between the dancer and the space around them.
At certain moments, it’s hard to tell whether we’re looking at part of the body or an abstract pattern in motion. The lines between body and space, matter and energy begin to dissolve. For an instant everything merges into a single fluid presence.
Through this series I’m searching for a way to capture that moment- to give form to something fleeting, something that might already be gone or hasn’t quite arrived.
