Tiana Diakova is a painter based in Barcelona, whose work bridges academic realism and expressive abstraction.

Inspired by her childhood in the natural landscapes of Crimea, she explores the dynamic relationship between the human body in motion and the space around it. Her distinctive style emerged during her studies at the Barcelona Academy of Art, where she began blending finely rendered graphite figures with fluid, abstract ink backgrounds. In 2023, she expanded her practice to include oil painting, adding richness, depth and colour to her compositions.

Tiana’s work reflects a pursuit of harmony between anatomy, movement and energy as an invitation to reconnect with the body and the natural world in the age of rapid technological advancement
